The Indiana State women's soccer team took to the pitch for the first time to take on the Panthers of Eastern Illinois on Friday afternoon. After an 85-minute delay, the Sycamores began their regular season home opener.
In a game where the intensity was high, and when a very young, inexperienced Sycamore team was on the field, the Sycamores edged out the Panthers and won the game 1-0 in overtime.
